OH HIYI THERE I DID NOT SEE YOU UNDER MY BED

Challenging myself to write a blog post in 15 minutes. Because I have been procrastinating till now. Well actually, filling in my tax return. But I am so used to procrastinating in life any task to me is now a form of procrastinating till I don't know what. Death?

Anyway, I was talking to a friend the other day about how, in the realm of blogging, often we wait too long for something worth happening to blog about, and then never blog for months on end. In fact you can hear that whole conversation and more here. Because it was when I was interviewing Ella Gordon about Wool Week for the Shetland Times podcast:

So I thought, we are both right Ella and I. I should write more often, even if nothing big has happened. Which is exactly the case for today. (I think most of my posts ever have been inane though). THIS ALSO MEANS NOTHING IS SPELL OR GRAMMAR CHECKED IN THIS BLOG POST. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER ONE OF MY BLOG POSTS EVER. NO APOLOGIES. Recently I have been watching Firefly. It is so great. Although I think I've blogged about this very thing before. Series AND film. So to conclude: Watch Firefly. Bare with it for the first 7 or so minutes of the pilot. That's not what it's about.

Actually, last week I did do something cool. I swam in the Mareel (phosphorescent  algae) but I have already done that and blogged about it. So you can just read about it here and pretend it was me doing it for the 3rd time (that's what she said):

I would have written more in this 15 minute burst but I am also, at the same time, eating a plate of mackerel and tatties so that takes priority.


Also I made a tutorial of how to do make up like I do make up. Which is only legal for 18+ but not as exciting as that sounds. E.G this is safe to watch at work unless your boss is watching you cause then they'll see you are skivving.
