I have been thinking today

Is there a name for the feeling when  you open your purse after a night out and then there's no cash left and you're horrified and confused and paranoid and disappointed in yourself and it's all those feelings in one go and you're hungover?

Why do they tell you (Mams) that you need to put on new underwear in case you get hit by a bus and end up in hospital so as to impress the Nurses with your clean pants? Because surely if you were hit by a bus you would shit yourself.

Why do we spend so much time and energy adorning our fleshy outers. What good is that. Why is that part so important?

And when someone sends you an ambiguous reply so as different tones could make it say a whole number of meanings what is it that sometimes makes you discern it as a positive and other times the worst possible most angry and spiteful answer ever? For instance:

EXAMPLE 1:

You: "Sorry I forgot I was busy tonight can I meet you tomorrow?"

Them: "Ok"

Is that:

A) Yeah that's fine by me

B) Good. I'm glad I can get another 24 hours of freedom away from your face.

C) Fuck you man. We had plans.

D) Wait what?

E) Sorry I lost all my numbers whosdis?

F) I slept with your father.

EXAMPLE 2:

You: "Hiyi, how're you getting on?"

Them: "Good yeah you?"

A) HE WANTS TO MARRY ME

B) HE WANTS TO MARRY ME

C) HE WANTS TO MARRY ME

D) He's really interested and will probably want to E)

E) HE WANTS TO MARRY ME

F) He hates me

I realise now example 2 was written by my thoughts rather than their potential feelings. But what you didn't know is that I spent 45 minutes doing other stuff before I even wrote example 2. Now you know.
